Elderly woman dies in skiing accident at ski resort in Big Bear

BIG BEAR, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino Coroners Office has identified the woman killed during a skiing accident Monday afternoon.
Roberta Waymire, 81, a resident of Big Bear City was skiing at ski resort in Big Bear on March 5, 2018, at 12:00 pm, when she was involved in a skiing accident.
Waymire was transported to the emergency room at Bear Valley Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 1:22 pm, the coroners office stated.
Additional details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
