BARSTOW-(VVNG.com): At about 5:26 p.m. on Saturday, January 2nd, the California Highway Patrol and Medical personnel responded the area of state route 247 (Barstow Road) and Charro Road for a single-vehicle rollover. According to CHP incident logs, the reporting party said that a blue van or SUV was overturned and several injured people were lying on the roadway.

It was initially reported that there were five injured people, which included three juveniles. The reporting party told dispatchers that he was driving the injured occupants in his private vehicle in order to meet with the ambulance approximately 2 miles away at the Slash X Cafe located on the 28000 block of Barstow Road in the city of Barstow.

Per scanner traffic two of the occupants of the vehicle were suffering from head injuries, one from a hand injury and the others with undisclosed injuries. CHP officials said that upon arrival they found a van in the roadway with debris in all lanes.
