HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 28-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital after she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a light pole.
It happened on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at about 12:23 am, at the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and Cromdale Street in Hesperia.
Hesperia Sheriff’s Station deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic accident and located a black Chevy Tahoe on the sidewalk with major front-end damage with the female driver still sitting inside.
Sheriff’s Service Specialist Edgar Moran told Victor Valley News, the woman was traveling northbound on Cottonwood Avenue when she fell asleep and ran up the curb and struck the light pole.
