VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 35-year-old man was arrested after crashing Saturday night on the I-15 freeway in Victorville.
It happened on February 10, 2024, at about 7:03 pm, on the southbound I-15, south of Bear Valley Road.
According to VVNG.com commenter, the VW was speeding and tried to cut her off causing her lifted Jeep to t-bone the red sedan. The impact caused the VW to spin out and flip into the ditch.
The vehicle came to a stop after it landed on its roof in the drainage ditch that runs along the freeway and Amargosa Road.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured and after a failed sobriety test was arrested at the scene for DUI.
According to public arrest records, David Matthew Carbajal, a resident of Apple Valley, was arrested for VC23152(A) DUI Alcohol, VC23152(B) DUI ALcohol/0,08 Percent. He was cite-release and has no court appearance scheduled.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the investigation is being handled by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station.
