Driver Arrested After Crashing into Fire Hydrant and Leaving the Scene

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): On Monday, May 18, 2015 at approximately 11:55 P.M., per scanner traffic, a vehicle collided into a fire hydrant and mailbox in the 13100 block of 9th Avenue in Victorville.

After the crash the vehicle, fled from the scene of the collision for about .2 miles from the location where he was located by deputies.

The badly damaged vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was transported to High Desert Detention Center to be booked on unknown charges.
