Driver airlifted after crashing through fence of vacant Victorville school

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A person who was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash was flown to a trauma center with critical injuries.

It happened at about 1:00 am, Friday, December 13, in the 15400 block of Hesperia Road and Forrest Avenue.

Deputies from the Victorville Police Station and Victorville Fire Department arrived and located the vehicle with major damage in the parking lot of a vacant school.

According to preliminary information, the white pickup truck was traveling north on Hesperia Road when it approached a curve and lost control.

The truck rolled an unknown amount of times. A helicopter was requested to transport the person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
