Driver airlifted after crashing into pole on Bear Valley Road in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A driver was airlifted from a scene of a crash early Saturday.
It happened at about 1:54 am on August 10, 2019, at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and I Avenue in Hesperia.
For reasons still unknown, the driver of a gray Dodge SUV lost control and crashed into a traffic signal pole.
Firefighters responded to the incident and extricated the driver from the vehicle.
California Highway Patrol helicopter H80 landed at the scene and airlifted the male driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The driver was conscious and alert at the time of transport.
No other injuries were reported.
