Don’t panic Facebook is down!
We understand this could be a very difficult time, with feelings of being disconnected from the world.
Whatever you do please remain calm and don’t call 911!
Initial reports indicate the temporary blackout was caused by a new 360- degree video feature allowing users to choose the angle from which they want to watch them.
“You’ll be able to hold up your phone and the 360 video will follow you as you turn, looking around, to experience things from all over the world like never before,” Maher Saba, Facebook’s engineering director for video said.
Meanwhile, Twitter is blowing up with the hashtag #Facebookdown and some hilarious tweets.
