VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- On September 17, 2014 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Sheriff’s dispatch received a call regarding a domestic disturbance in the area of Luna just West of Highway 395 near Mesa View. The man, who was estranged husband, who had a restraining order already in place against him, came to the home where a physical altercation ensued.
According to Corporal Solorio, of the Victorville Police department, the father of the child took the 4-year-old boy from the home and started running into the nearby desert area with the child. Authorities searched for the father and child utilizing ground units, a helicopter and K-9 units. The two were located in an open desert after an approximately 30 minute search of the area.
Although the father would not obey the commands of the officers to stop running and get on the ground he was arrested without incident, for his involvement with this domestic disturbance and kidnapping.
There is no further information at this time, there were no other arrests made as a result of this incident.
