DMV Office in Victorville closed amid coronavirus fears

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) –The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offices in Victorville are currently closed.
The website did not provide an official explanation about the sudden closure at the Victorville location, however, customers are advised to visit other nearby locations like San Bernardino or Barstow.
On Wednesday night, DMV officials provided a schedule outlining interrupted services and closure information to protect the health and safety of customers and employees during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the website, customers whose transactions require an in-office visit will be served on an appointment-only basis.
Extended office hours and Saturday field office services were also suspended until further notice. And all behind-the-wheel drive tests have been canceled for the next 30 days.
Earlier this week, VVNG reported on the Victorville DMV practicing social distancing.
There is no information on when the Victorville location will open. Be sure to check back for updates as they become available.
