On September 19, 2013, at 10:52 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a dead body found abandoned in a house on the 2400 block of California Street, in Muscoy, a town located near Devore, just 30 miles from Victorville.
Deputies arrived and found the decomposed remains of an unidentified female inside the residence.
Sheriff’s Homicide Division is investigating this incident.
An autopsy will be conducted to better determine the age and race of the victim, and cause and manner of death.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the female who is listed as a Jane Doe.
