Deputy involved in a crash on Tawney Ridge Ln in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a crash Monday evening in Victorville.
The collision was reported just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Tawney Ridge Lane and Condor Road and involved a Victorville Sheriff’s patrol unit and a civilian vehicle.
For reasons still under investigation, the two vehicles collided at the intersection. The impact sent the deputy’s vehicle atop a small retaining wall of a front yard, and the other sedan came to rest in the middle of the road.
Battalion Chief Myers with the Victorville City Fire Department said one person from each vehicle sustained minor injuries and are both in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
