HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A possible jumper was talked down from the Main Street freeway overpass at about 3:05 p.m. Monday afternoon here in Hesperia.
The incident caused a stretch of the southbound 15 freeway to be briefly closed while Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spoke with the man.
“He was hanging onto the fence from the other side facing traffic, he had no shirt on and appeared to be in distress,” a witness told Victor Valley News.
The man, a hispanic male in his 30’s, was successfully talked down and will be taken for a medical and mental evaluation.
No further details are available at this time. The freeway has been reopened as of 3:07 p.m.
