Deputies Need Assistance in Locating a Union Pacific Backhoe Stolen in Hesperia

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): A Backhoe, unit number TLH3538 went missing from the county area of Hesperia sometimes between May 15th at 6:00 p.m. and May 18th at 10:00 a.m. The yellow backhoe has a silver bucket with teeth and a red, white and blue, Union Pacific shield on the engine cover and “Case 580M” on the sides. When last seen, the vehicle had damage to the front right tire making it nearly flat.
The vehicle was stolen in the area of Ranchero Road just west of Outpost Road near the railroad crossing for the weekend.
The backhoe was tracked south along the eastside of the railroad tracks, then east to Adkins Rd/Jenny St. where the tracks were lost. No other evidence was located at the scene.
