Deputies Investigating Attempted Kidnapping in Victorville

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Just before 10:40 a.m. deputies were flagged down by a woman who alleged she was the victim of attempted kidnapping on Loves Lane near Desert Knoll Drive. The woman said she was walking northbound on Loves Lane when an unknown Hispanic man stopped and asked her if she wanted a ride. She declined his offer and he attempted to pull her into the vehicle.
According to Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokesman, Sgt. Dave Burgess, the man was described as about 50-years-old, 5’8, 180 pounds, medium build, dark hair with white in it and he was wearing a hearing aid. He was last seen driving a red older model 4-door Ford Focus with tinted windows. He had a blue and red Chihuahua Flag with gold strings dangling from it that were hanging from the rear view mirror.
The woman was able to fight the man off and get away, but the suspect is still at large. If anyone has any information they are asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Victorville Station at (760) 245-4211.
