Deputies Arrest Man for False Imprisonment of an Apple Valley Woman

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) Jesse Arcadio Hernandez, 34, a resident of Apple Valley, was arrested for false imprisonment of a woman.

On Friday, January 5, 2024, the 41-year-old female went to the Apple Valley Police Department to report an assault that occurred on January 4, 2024, in the 15500 Block of Apache Road.

“The victim had bruising and pain resulting from the assault which was a result of a dispute over living arrangements,” stated sheriff’s officials.

Jesse Hernandez was contacted a short time later and was arrested for PC 236, false imprisonment. Hernandez was transported to High Desert Detention Center for housing, where he is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail. 

On January 8, 2024, the Victorville District Attorney’s Office filed felony charges of PC 236 – false imprisonment by violence and PC 245(a)(4) – assault  by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.
