ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities arrested a previously convicted felon for being in possession of a firearm, officials said.
Aaron Washington, 35, of Victorville was arrested in the area of Bellflower Street and Rancho Road in Adelanto on June 7, 2018.
At about 10:45 pm, Adelanto Station Deputies Joseph Mora, and Kyle Schuler saw two adult males attempting to break into a Black Toyota Matrix, according to a news release.
Deputies contacted the subjects and learned the vehicle belonged to Washington and he had locked himself out. The other subject was trying to help him unlock the vehicle.
“Aaron Washington, who is currently on probation, was found to have a felony no-bail warrant for his arrest. Inside the vehicle, deputies found a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol behind the driver seat,” stated the release.
Washington is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition; he was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
