UPDATE 9/28/18 — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased male as Kevin Shaw, 32. Kevin was found in a drainage easement behind the Walmart and was pronounced deceased.
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man believed to be homeless was found dead in a field behind a busy shopping center in Victorville Friday morning.
At about 7:10 am, on August 31, 2018, deputies responded to the Walmart shopping center in the 12200 block of Palmdale Road near Highway 395 regarding a dead body.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they located the body of a deceased adult male, officials said.
Sergeant Marc Bracco told Victor Valley News, at this time, it appears the deceased male died of natural causes and there were no signs of foul play. “The coroner investigator responded to the scene and took over the investigation,” stated Bracco.
The exact cause of death and identity will be released by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
