Debris in Roadway Shut Down Northbound Apple Valley Road

APPLE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- All lanes of northbound Apple Valley Road at Bear Valley Road are completely shut down due to multiple large metal pipes in the roadway.
On Tuesday December 8th at about 11:30 A.M., for unknown reasons a tractor-trailer with a flat-bed lost its load blocking the northbound lanes of Apple Valley Road. According to a witness at the scene two vehicles a ford Focus and a Ford pick-up truck were hit by the pipes. No injuries have been reported.
Police and public works are on scene assisting with traffic control and the 17 large metal pipes are expected to be removed shortly.
If you are planning on traveling through the area be sure to use an alternate route. Per scanner traffic, northbound Apple Valley Road is shut down from Bear Valley Road to Pimlico Road. More information will be updated shortly.
