SUMMIT VALLEY: (VVNG.com)- State Route 138 between Summit Valley Road and Highway 173 have been closed all day due to a body being discovered just east of the Summit Valley intersection.
The California Highway Patrol received a call early Sunday morning regarding a body found near a vehicle. No further details about the incident are currently available at this time.
The portion of the highway will remain closed until homicide detectives finish the investigation. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Traffic heading to Silverwood lake was diverted around Lake Arrowhead Rd to the 173 west.
