BIG BEAR:(VVNG.com)- According to a news release, on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:33 p.m., deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the forest area near U.S. Forest Service roads 2N02/2N86Y following the report of a deceased body being located. The reporting party, a Big Bear City resident, was out on horseback with friends when they discovered the body.
The decedent is an adult male. There were no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. Members of the Big Bear Station’s Search and Rescue Team assisted in the recovery of the body. A death investigation is being conducted by the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station in conjunction with the Coroner’s Division. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
