Deadly Police Pursuit Ends in Violent Crash in Hesperia (video)

HESPERIA, Calif: (VVNG.com) A police pursuit in Hesperia resulted in a fatal crash Monday morning.
At about 10:00 a.m. a Hesperia deputy reported he was in pursuit of a vehicle in the area of 11th and Main Street.
The vehicle, a Honda Civic was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided head-on with a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection of Willow Street and 11th Avenue in Hesperia.
Per scanner reports, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two airships were requested for two additional victims described as being unconscious.
Both airships landed in the field at Hesperia Junior High.
The license plate on the Honda returned to a 2002 Hyundai Elantra, at this time it’s unknown if the vehicle was reported stolen.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s Department has not released any details surrounding the incident. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
