VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision earlier this week as Eddie George St Cyr Jr., 41, a resident of Victorville.

It happened on Friday, October 25, 2019, at about 4:19 am, on National trails Highway, north of the I-15 freeway, near the Cemex Victorville Plant.

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle collision and located his body several feet from his 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Through investigation, deputies determined the motorcycle was traveling northbound on National Trails when the rider lost control and the motorcycle left the roadway into a dirt field ejecting the rider.

According to a sheriff’s news release, “investigators are looking into whether drugs, alcohol or vehicle speed was a factor in the collision.”

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Victorville City Station is investigating the collision.

Anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Deputies M. Lee or A. Ramos at the Victorville Police Station 760-241-2911.
