HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified a man found dead in an alleyway Monday morning in Hesperia.
The coroner’s office identified the deceased as Steven W. Lathrop, 54, a resident of Hesperia and the manner of death is pending.
On October 23, 2023, at about 8:08 a.m., police and fire responded to reports of a male down near a bike between Dollar General and Circle K.
First responders arrived and the male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police blocked off a field and some of the alleyway during the death investigation.
Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told VVNG there was nothing indicating a homicide investigation.
