Coroner ID’s Man Found Dead in SUV on St Andrews Drive in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified a man found dead in a vehicle as 51-year-old Vernon L. Clinkscale, a resident of Victorville.
It happened on September 28, 2024, at about 6:00 pm, when deputies responded to a medical aid call in the 14300 block of St Andrews Drive.
Sheriff’s officials said the reporting party discovered a male subject inside a vehicle who appeared to be unconscious.
“The reporting party managed to get the subject out of the vehicle and began CPR until emergency medical personnel arrived. Despite lifesaving measures, the male subject was pronounced deceased,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Huerta.
According to the coroner’s office, the cause of death is currently pending.
