Coroner Identifies Joshua Burt, 39, Found Dead In Field Near First Street In Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified a homeless man found dead in an open field last week in Victorville as Joshua Burt, 39.
Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded at approximately 9:59 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to an open field near the 16000 block of First Street, near D Street in old town Victorville.
Burt was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
No additional details regarding the cause or manner of death were immediately released.
