VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 31-year-old previously convicted felon out on parole was re-arrested after deputies found him with a firearm and ammunition, officials said.
Jesus Hernandez, of Apple Valley, was arrested on March 10, 2019, after a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of 6th and A Streets in Victorville.
Sheriff’s deputies identified the driver as Hernandez who was found to be on parole with an active warrant for his arrest, officials said.
According to a sheriff’s news release, “deputies conducted a search of his vehicle and discovered two handguns and multiple live ammunition rounds inside.”
Hernandez was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, and felony parole violation. He is scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on March 12, 2019.
