VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A convicted child molester was sentenced to 4 years in prison on Monday, December 7th and with time served and conduct credit will be eligible for release in just over 18 months.
The 31-year-old Adelanto man, identified as Jonathan Hart initially during a September 15th arraignment pleaded not guilty on three felony charges including lewd or lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 years old and two counts of oral copulation with person under 16 years of age.
Hart, as part of a plea bargain pleaded no contest to one count of lewd or lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 year of age, which dropped all other charges.
The evidence of the ongoing molestation of the female teen was collected after the Adelanto Sheriff station began an investigation. Through the investigation information including video evidence of the molestation.
Hart, according to the September 14, 2015 Sheriff’s press release had an extensive criminal history and constituted a threat to the victim as well as other children in the home. Hart will be serving his time at the California Department of Corrections at Chino.
