Convicted Adelanto Felon Threatens to Shoot Man with Shotgun

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) Tyshon Williams, 24, a previously convicted felon from Adelanto was arrested after pointing a shotgun at another man and threatening to shoot him, authorities said.

The incident was reported at 1:24 a.m. on May 21, 2017, in the 11600 block of Autumn Street in the city of Adelanto.

“The victim told deputies that he had just arrived home from work, and as he walked up to his residence he saw a Black male adult standing in front of him with a firearm in his right hand,” stated Sheriff’s spokeswoman Staci Parks.

According to Parks, Williams then pointed the gun at the victim and told him he was going to shoot him.

After making several additional threats, Williams fled the location on foot prior to the arrival of deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station.

As deputies were responding, they observed a Black male adult, later identified as Williams walking eastbound on Star Street.

“When the subject saw the patrol car, he started to flee on foot and jumped the fence of a residence on Star Street,” stated Parks. “Deputies located the shotgun in the backyard of the residence; however, the suspect was gone.”

Deputies conducted an extensive search and found the suspect lying in the back seat of a vehicle, parked along the curb on Star Street.

Tyshon Williams, who is a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Williams was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm, criminal threats, and assault with a firearm. He is currently being held without bail on a parole hold.
