Construction on Highway 395 expansion in Adelanto continues next week

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Construction on the widening of US Highway 395 in Adelanto will continue next week, officials said.
As the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) continues the US 395 – Phase 1 Widening Project, crews will perform daytime work behind k-rail throughout the corridor (US 395 between SR-18/Palmdale Road and Chamberlaine Way.)
Crews will place and finish the aggregate base to prepare for pavement.
Activity will take place along the corridor near Rancho Road, Cactus Road, Air Base Road, Bartlett Avenue, Mojave Road, SR-18/Palmdale Road.
All work will occur behind k-rail. Crews and equipment will be visible. Please use caution and be safe when driving through the corridor.
