
VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) On Tuesday, August 1st, communities from all around the United States will gather together for National Night Out 2017.
Known as America’s Night Out Against Crime, National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
This year is the 34th anniversary of NNO with over 38 million people across the country expected to participate.
Community members are encouraged to attend NNO and learn how to keep their family and home safe while enjoying great food, entertainment, and of course fun!
(ALL EVENTS WILL BE ON AUGUST 1, 2017 BETWEEN 5PM-8PM)
APPLE VALLEY:
The Town of Apple Valley’s National Night Out event, hosted by the Apple Valley Police Department will take place in the parking lot of the Super Target at 20288 Highway 18.
Enjoy free food, giveaways, face painting and meet McGruff the Crime Dog while learning about ways to keep your family safe.
HESPERIA:
The City of Hesperia’s National Night Out Event has moved from Target’s parking lot to its new home at the Hesperia Civic Plaza Park at 15833 Smoke Tree Street. Public Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Jaclyn Chambers is very excited about the new location and can’t wait to meet many of Hesperia residents.
There will be safety vehicle tours, free VIN engraving, free bounce houses, free face painting, live music, food vendors and much more.
VICTORVILLE:
The Victorville Police Department will be hosting the 34th Annual National Night Out from at Victorville City Hall at 14343 Civic Drive.
Learn about keeping your family and home safe while enjoying great food and fun.
ADELANTO:
The Adelanto Sheriff’s Station will not be hosting their own event this year, however, they will be participating in National Night Out events across the High Desert.
