OAK HILLS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A new locally owned coffee shop, Coffee Cove, officially opened Sunday, May 3, 2026, bringing handcrafted drinks and a community-focused atmosphere to the Oak Hills area.
Owner Arianna Corona, a 2021 graduate of Oak Hills High School, said the shop was inspired by her desire to create a space where people can slow down and connect.
Corona explained that opening the business close to where she grew up adds personal meaning to the venture.
“Coffee Cove was inspired by my love for creating a space where people can slow down, connect, and enjoy drinks in a welcoming environment,” Corona said.
“As a local who graduated from Oak Hills High School in 2021, just about a mile from where the shop is located, it’s especially meaningful for me to bring something like this back to the community I grew up in.”
She added that the concept also centers around mental wellness.
“I also wanted to create a space that supports mental wellness in a simple way, somewhere people can take a break from their day and feel comfortable and loved,” she said.
Coffee Cove, located at 13312 Ranchero Road in Oak Hills, offers a variety of handcrafted beverages and fresh baked goods made by a local baker. The menu includes espresso-based drinks, matcha, cold brew, lemonades, refreshers, and seasonal specialties, along with pastries, waffles, breads, and other baked items.
According to Corona, the shop’s attention to detail and atmosphere help set it apart.
“What makes us unique is our attention to detail, from the quality of ingredients to the overall experience,” she said. “We’re creating a safe and welcoming space with a warm atmosphere that feels different from a typical coffee shop.”
The location places Coffee Cove within minutes of several local schools, including Oak Hills High School, Cedar Middle School, and Mesquite Trails Elementary.
In a separate message shared on the business’s Instagram account following the shop’s opening, Corona also opened up about personal challenges leading up to launch, including a serious health condition.
“While I was praying for things to move faster, He was slowing everything down to heal me,” she wrote.
“Just a few months ago, my scoliosis had unable to walk or get out of bed… and if this opened on my timing, I wouldn’t even be able to stand here today,” she said.
Corona credited her faith for guiding the timing of the shop’s opening.
“Every delay was Him. Every closed door was Him. Every step that got me here was Him,” she wrote. “This isn’t my timing, it’s His.”
Corona said she is grateful for the support the business has already received and is looking forward to connecting with customers.
“We’re so excited to bring Coffee Cove to the community and create a space that people can truly enjoy and feel at home in,” she said. “Being able to open a shop so close to where I grew up makes this especially meaningful, and I’m truly grateful for all the support so far. I can’t wait to open our doors and meet everyone!”
“More than anything, I want Coffee Cove to be a safe space where people can slow down, feel good, and have something to look forward to in their day,” she added.
