Clark Pacific Breaks Ground on New Adelanto Plant; 500 New Jobs Expected

ADELANTO, CA – December 13, 2016 – West Sacramento’s Clark Pacific, one of the nation’s leading suppliers of architectural and structural prefabricated concrete solutions, broke ground today on its newest plant located at 9367 Holly Road, in Adelanto to accommodate the continued demands and expansion of the California construction market. Clark Pacific’s Presidents, Bob Clark and Don Clark, Mayor Richard Kerr, and members of the Adelanto City Council were in attendance to celebrate the event.

The 110-acre Adelanto plant will replace Clark Pacific’s Irwindale plant starting in June 2017. Clark Pacific will transfer its existing operations to the Adelanto plant, and will expand its staff upon completion of the facility. From its Adelanto plant, Clark Pacific will continue to deliver beautiful landmark projects throughout Southern California, bringing new union manufacturing and engineering jobs and opportunities to the community. The new plant will produce structural precast products including: parking structures, retail stores, auto dealerships and deliver solutions for, large scale projects across southern California and Nevada.

The company has successfully delivered precast concrete solutions on thousands of design-build construction projects in California during the course of its 53 years in business, including: The Michael Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse, The Citizens Bank Events Center (Ontario), Ontario International Airport, High Desert Regional Health Center, San Bernardino College of Education, Pomona College Dorms, and the recently completed San Bernardino Courthouse.

The company expects to start the hiring process in March/April of 2017.
