City of Victorville to host annual Lifestream Blood Drive on Dec. 4

VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A blood donation could be the most important gift you give this holiday season.
Give blood today, and give the gift of life!
The community is invited to participate in the City of Victorville’s blood drive hosted with LifeStream on Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Training Rooms 1 and 2 at Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Dr.
Donors will receive a free cholesterol screening and a Bakers’ coupon for two tacos and a drink.
In addition, donors 18 to 44 years old may register for “Be the Match” bone marrow screening at all donor locations free of charge.
Healthy individuals of at least 15 years of age may donate blood, but donors under 18 years of age must bring a signed LifeStream parental consent form.
All prospective donors must be free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds, and not at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.
