City of Victorville Fall Festival this Saturday, October 4

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- The annual Victorville Fall Festival is returning to Victorville City Hall this Saturday, October 4. The fun will start at 10 am and run through 4 pm. The family event features live music, dance, food, art, kids’ activities, vendor and information booths, and so much more!
This City of Victorville sponsored event is designed to bring the community together for a fun-filled day in the High Desert. Last year the event attracted 15,000 visitors and event organizers are anticipating an even larger crowd this year.
Fall Festival visitors will enjoy more than 100 booths of merchant displays and craft vendors, as well as informational booths for service organizations, schools and colleges and other non-profit groups. There will be activities just for the kids, including bounce houses, a climbing wall, a large swing, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Best of all, the Kids’ Zone activities are FREE!
The festival will also feature live stage entertainment and a food court with plenty of covered seating. Performers will include The Willie Cockrell Orchestra, Eric Runningpath, Academy of Performing Arts, Victorville Tae Kwon Do, Shenanigans’ Youth Theatre Group, the Multi-Cultural Dance Center, and classic rock favorites by Music Formula.
New to this year’s Fall Festival is the World Trade Center Memorial. This traveling memorial contains one of the beams recovered from the World Trade Center. Weighing more than 12, 000 lbs, and over 18 feet long, this memorial is engraved with the 343 names of the firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
This one-day annual event has something for everyone to enjoy. Entertainment, event parking and Kids’ Zone activities are free.
The event is sponsored by the City of Victorville, in partnership with the Daily Press, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, American Medical Response, Burrtec Waste Industries/Victorville Disposal, Desert Community Bank, Diamond Environmental Services, Dos Costas Communications, El Clasificado, El Dorado Broadcasters, Green de Bortnowsky, LLP, Shear Realty, Southern California Edison and Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority.
