CHP Maximum Enforcement Operation Along Interstate 15 in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol, Inland Division, will be conducting a maximum enforcement operation on Interstate 15 in the Apple Valley area on Friday, August 31, 2018.
While the primary focus will be DUI, CHP officers will also take enforcement action on any other observed violations such as speeding, seatbelt, and distracted driving.
The enforcement operation will also kick-off the start to the CHP’s Labor Day Maximum Enforcement Period which begins on August 31, 2018 at 6:01 P.M. and concludes on September 3, 2018, at 11:59 P.M.
The California Highway Patrol strives to make California a great place to live, work, and travel by providing the highest level of Safety, Service, and Security. This is accomplished by reducing traffic-related fatalities and injuries.
Additionally, this special enforcement operation supports the California Highway Patrol’s mission of providing superior service to the public.
