
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A CHP helicopter patrolling over the Victor Valley aided deputies to track down a stolen work truck and its two occupants Saturday afternoon.
CHP helicopter H-80 was flying over a wash near Eucalyptus Street and Cloverly Avenue in an area west of Victorville when they noticed a white truck that looked stuck in the sand.
From the air, the crew observed two males attempting to get the vehicle free.
“The crew checked the vehicle license plate and discovered the truck to be an outstanding stolen vehicle,” stated a CHP – Inland Division Air Operations Facebook post.
H-80 coordinated with ground CHP and Sheriff units who detained the subjects for further investigation.
