Chipotle Hosts Fundraiser to Support CHP Explorer Post 850 in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Chipotle is teaming up with the California Highway Patrol’s Explorer Post 850 for a one-day fundraiser aimed at supporting the costs of running the youth-focused nonprofit program.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chipotle located at 9770 Mariposa Road in Hesperia.

According to a promotional flyer, 25% of event sales will be donated to Post 850 when guests show the flyer in-store or use the online code DYN7XMH during checkout for pickup orders.

Explorer Post 850 was launched by the CHP Victorville Area office to provide young men and women, ages 15 to 21, with firsthand experience in law enforcement. The program is part of the CHP Inland Division and aims to build leadership, discipline, and teamwork while fostering interest in public service.

According to the CHP, “Through hands-on training, ride-alongs, and community events, Explorers gain valuable experience that builds confidence, discipline, and teamwork.”

Funds raised from the Chipotle event will help offset operational costs associated with running the program, which includes uniforms, equipment, and event participation.

Online orders must be placed for pickup at the Hesperia location during the fundraiser window for the sale to count toward the donation. Gift card purchases and delivery orders do not qualify. A minimum of $150 in total event sales is required for the fundraiser to be eligible for donation.
