EL MIRAGE-(VVNG.com):A gruesome discovery of charred human remains were made on Friday, April 3rd at approximately 11:34 A.M. The reporting party, a man in a white business utility truck, stated that he located the burnt body in the desert area in El Mirage approximately one mile West of Highway 395 and Shadow Mountain Rd.
Victor Valley News reporters located the desolate crime scene just after 12:30 P.M. The sparsely populated El Mirage area shined with the emergency vehicle lights which partially blocked Shadow Mountain rd. The white utility truck, as well as the reporting party were still on scene.
A deputy on scene taped off the approximately 450 square foot desert area securing the yellow tape around nearby bushes and trees as the reporting party spoke with investigators.
At this time, there is no information provided to confirm the condition of the body, if it is a male, a female or the age of the deceased person. “I can only confirm deputies responded to a dead body near Shadow Mountain Rd. around 11:34 this morning.
Homicide was requested to conduct the investigation,” said San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Cindy Bachman.
