Central Road in Apple Valley closed due to crash

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A stretch of Central Road in Apple Valley remains closed due to telephone pole damaged in a traffic accident, officials said.
It happened at about 4:10 pm, at the corner of Central Road and Standing Rock Road in Apple Valley.
According to firefighters with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, “the road is shut down until Edison can get the telephone pole secured.”
Motorist are encouraged to avoid the area for approximately two hours as SCE crews make necessary repairs to the damaged pole.
No injuries were reported and the official cause of the crash is under investigation by the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station.
