CareMore Care Center For Seniors Grand Opening In Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com)- On Thursday, January 19, 2017, CareMore Health System opened the doors to its newest Care Center in Hesperia, CA, designed specifically to provide care to Medicare-aged adults. CareMore Care Centers are an integral part of the company’s care delivery system and offer personalized health planning that ensures that all members receive the individualized attention necessary to manage their health and reduce hospital visits.

Local residents, current CareMore members, and Hesperia dignitaries came to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting on site.

The Hesperia Care Center offers specialized programs such as a Fall Prevention Program which includes a comprehensive assessment for people with a history of falls or those who are at risk for falls, a Diabetes Management Program which provides education and information for controlling blood sugar along with diabetes support groups, individualized nutritional education and counseling, exercise classes, and a High Blood Pressure Care Program which gives members access to a home based electronic blood pressure monitoring system that sends blood pressure readings to the CareMore staff electronically. The Hesperia Care Center also provides CareMore members with regular foot examinations and routine toenail trimming, educational classes, access to support groups and periodic wellness checkups.

For members who suffer with hearing, vision, and mobility impairments, the five treatment room Care Center also offers state-of-the-art examination tables that maximize comfort and accessibility to the patient, low glare materials used on all countertops, floors, furnishing, walls and window coverings, and static resistant carpet to reduce interference with hearing aids and other devices.

Ed Sianipar, a Nurse Practitioner at the Hesperia Care Center says, “We are fully invested in being a part of the community, and not just another insurance company. My approach on running this clinic is to connect with our members and to be more engaged with them in order to manage their health well.”

CareMore’s Regional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tae Park accepted certificates of recognition on behalf of the company from Mayor Paul Russ, Senator Scott Wilk, Assemblyman Jay Obernolte and Congressman Paul Cook.
