Caltrans message on construction sign in Victorville changed to ‘Trump 2020’

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Caltrans construction sign along Palmdale Road in Victorville was changed over the weekend to display the message “Trump 2020.”
Pictures of the sign were posted to Victor Valley News Group on Facebook between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The orange construction sign was very visible for motorist traveling westbound on Palmdale Road near Amethyst Road in Victorville.
According to an ABC7 online article, Caltrans said they were working to change the message and it wasn’t the first time someone had reprogrammed one of their signs.
Whoever the person who wrote the ‘Trump 2020’ message to flash on the Caltrans sign remains a mystery.
As of 9:00 am Monday morning, the sign had not been changed.
UPDATE @ 1:00 PM – A VVNG viewer drove past the sign at about 1:00 pm and said the sign had been removed.
