Burger King employee grabbed by hair, neck during attempted robbery in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Burger King employee was assaulted during an attempted robbery Saturday night, officials said.

It happened on October 26, 2019, at the BK located in the 14800 block of Bear Valley Road in the city of Victorville.

Sheriff’s spokesman Mara Rodriguez told VVNG at abut 10:25 pm, an unknown black male entered the business and grabbed an employee by the hair and neck, demanding money from the register.

“The employee refused and was able to get away from the suspect,” stated Rodriguez.

The suspect ran from the restaurant and was not located.

The suspect was last seen wearing a grey sweater and a camouflage mask. He was estimated to be in his 30’s. Anyone with information is asked to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
