BREAKING: Several homes destroyed and dozens more threatened in Calimesa

CALIMESA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A fast-moving brush fire driven by strong gusty winds has destroyed several homes and threatening dozens more in Calimesa.
The fire was reported at about 2:00 pm and is reported to be upwards of 150 acres and has destroyed as many of 20 homes in the Via Calimesa Mobile Home Park along the 10 freeway in Riverside County.
The fire is being pushed by the Santa Ana wind event affecting most of California.
This fire is 12 miles to the east of Moreno Valley where firefighters are busy battling a separate 100-acre brush fire.
According to an ABC7 live news broadcast with the Calimesa Mayor, students at a nearby middle school are being sheltered.
This is a developing story and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
