BREAKING: Mass Shooting Reported in San Bernardino

UPDATE: (3:53 PM) A second suspect is confirmed dead inside the suspect vehicle. All suspects are now accounted for according to scanner traffic.

UPDATE: (3:30 PM)  Deputies from the San Bernardino County Central station attempted to stop a black Ford Expedition near North Allen and East King streets in San Bernardino. Upon attempting the stop, the vehicle driven by a black male adult failed to yield causing a pursuit. Per scanner traffic one suspect fled on foot as the others in the vehicle shot at the patrol vehicle near Richardson street and San Bernardino Avenue.

One officer was down, hit by a ricocheted shot and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. One suspect is alive and in custody, a second suspect is down and possibly deceased.  One suspect fled on foot and is still at large at this time. Suspects are wearing all black including tactical vests. An additional suspect is reported to possibly be deceased inside the now disabled suspect vehicle.

UPDATE: (2:20 PM) San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said that the suspects fled in a dark colored SUV. Ports and local county and city buildings locked down.

UPDATE:(11:45AM) – Police are now searching for as many as three suspects described as three males dressed in dark clothing, body armor and ski masks.

UPDATE:(11:40 AM) – ABC 7 news is reporting that as many as 12 are confirmed deceased.

SAN BERNARDINO:(VVNG.com)- According to initial reports the city of San Bernardino is dealing with an active shooter situation.

Scanner chatter is reporting at least 20-30 victims are down in a mass shooting. Police are actively looking for more than one suspect reported to be armed with AR-15’s and wearing body armor.

The incident was reported in the 1300 block of S. Waterman Avenue just after 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. According to unconfirmed reports the shooting was targeting the Inland Regional Center facility, California Department of Developmental Services.

The San Bernardino Police Department has confirmed an ACTIVE SHOOTER in the area of Orange Show Rd/ Waterman
Ave near Park center. ‪The sheriff’s department is advising people to avoid the area.
