HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A local Kmart will permanently close its doors in mid-November, store officials announced Thursday.
The Kmart store located at 16968 Main St., in Hesperia is expected to slash its prices beginning August 31st as they begin to liquidate their inventory.
“As mentioned in Sears Holdings’ Q2 2017 financial results announcement on Thursday, August 24, the company informed associates at 28 Kmart stores that we will be closing these stores later this year as we continue to transform our business model so that our physical store footprint and our digital capabilities match the needs and preferences of our members,” stated a Sears Holding press release.
The latest store closures are on top of the already shuttered 180 Sears and Kmart locations, which closed earlier this year, leaving 610 Kmarts and 650 Sears in the United States.
The Apple Valley Kmart at 20777 Bear Valley Road will remain open. Here’s the link to the other 27 stores that will close: SEARS HOLDING
