BREAKING: Attempted Robbery at Chase Bank Near Target in Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA:(VVNG.com)- Authorities are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a Chase Bank on Friday morning.
Just before 10:30 a.m. an unknown male entered the Chase Bank located at 12731 Main Street in Hesperia.
Per scanner reports, the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money from the register. At this time it’s unknown if any money was taken.
The suspect is described as a White male about 45-50 years of age, wearing a long sleeve black shirt, dirty hat, and sunglasses.
The suspect left the location in a black four-door early 90’s model Nissan Maxima. Last seen heading eastbound on Main Street.
No employees were injured during the attempted robbery. A CHP helicopter responded to assist in the search for the suspect.
Per scanner info, the FBI has been notified and will be responding to the bank.
The Chase branch is currently closed for an unknown duration while authorities investigate the scene.
