BREAKING: attempt jumper in Victorville pulled down from 15 freeway overpass

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Officials are reopening the 15 Freeway after it was closed for nearly 30 minutes as authorities negotiated with a person who was threatening to jump off an overpass.
It was reported at about 7:52 p.m. on Tuesday night on the Roy Rogers Drive overpass in the city of Victorville.
The California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene and shut down the northbound lanes of traffic and requested airbags to deploy under the person.
However, that request was canceled when the man was pulled down to safety shortly before 8:20 p.m.
