Boy Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver; Suspect At Large

Victorville, Calif. (VVNG.com) A young child was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday night.
The child was riding a bicycle near the area of Center Street Park and Lacy Street at around 7:20 p.m. when he was struck by a suspect who fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle was described as a possible white and tan mini-van that fled southbound onto Center Street and then continued southbound onto Hesperia Road.
An airship was requested to fly the young boy out from Victor Valley Global Medical Center to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Per scanner reports, the boy is stated to have suffered major head trauma as part of the incident.
