SILVER LAKES, Calif. (VVNG.com) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dive Team recovered the body of a missing man in the waters of Silver Lakes.
The unidentified man was reported missing Saturday evening after jumping into the water from a boat. Authorities anxiously searched for the victim through the night and into the morning.
On Sunday, July 2, 2017, at about 1:20 pm, two divers jumped into the waters and recovered the body, according to a witness.
“After the divers went in they were handed a long yellow bag and about two minutes later they pulled the bag out. It took a couple of men to pull the body bag out of the water,” the witness told Victor Valley News.
The name of the victim is being withheld until further notice.
